If you are a sneaker head and a Street Fighter fan, this may be a dream come true for you. Nike has teamed up with Capcom for some official Street Fighter inspired Nike Dunks! The set will include two different Street Fighter character inspired kicks. One is a pair of Nike Dunk Lows which are inspired by Chun-Li and look somewhat similar to the shoes she wore in the Street Fighter Alpha series. The second is a pair of tatered Nike Dunk Mids that feature the red, black and off white worn by Ryu.
No word on when these kins will actually drop but I’m hearing holiday season 2010. Hopefully sooner though.
Of course there is a bit of irony in making shoes based on Ryu and that of course is the fact that the character hates to wear shoes.
