The image above is the one causing all the hoopla. Seems like a flyer ciculating for the SSFIV Arcade edition has a crytic message refering to “New Challengers”. It is very possible that the words are refering to the 10 fighters that have been added for Super but since they are already shown on the ad that would be a bit redundant. Thus everyone thinks this may mean a few new fighters.
Honestly I’m betting there will be some new fighters though I doubt if it is more than two. Ever since the arcade version was announced Ono-san and others working on the game have been hinting at adding new fighters. If they didn’t add some it would be a huge disappointment since they are the ones who got the hype train rolling.
So don’t be surprised if the arcade version get a couple new fighters and they are added down the line to the consile version of the game as DLC.
