At Gamescom today Yoshinori Ono and Harada showed off Street Fighter X Tekken. Unfortunately it was the same exact footage that was shown at Comic-Con. However, Harada did see fit to show fans a little of what the Tekken team was cooking up for Tekken X Street Fighter. He displayed for the crowd what Ryu may look like when he appears in the Tekken engine though he admits that the model isn’t quite done and Ryu was even borrowing Paul Pheonix’s gi in the photo as they have not created one for Ryu yet. The ryu model actually looked pretty good except for the fact that he doesn’t look Asian at all but then again, when has he ever truly looked Japanese?
Harada also showed a promo pic which featured Jin and Ryu with Devil Jin and Evil Ryu behind them.

Look great. Ryu looks Caucasian with the blue eyes and all. Cool model, though.
Its weird, Japanese characters never look Asian but Chinese characters do. Gen, Chun Li, and Fei Long actually look Asian and all happen to be Chinese.
