Shout out to Focus Attack for exposing this gem for me. This video has been floating around for awhile and like some other older videos, someone has added Street Fighter sound effects. This video features a professional wrestler performing a set of moves that looks very much like Zangief‘s Final Atomic Buster.

What would it be like to have Street Fighter’s millionaire playboy as a roommate. Not good it seems. Check out this mildly entertaining video that explores that very subject.

There aren’t to many girls who are really good at Street Fighter or fighting games in general for that matter. Faye Mata. Choco Blanka. That’s really about it that come to mind quickly. One other that has made some noise in Japan is Kayo Police. Kayo is known as one of the top players in Japan and has really been making some headway when it comes to getting female players noticed. Only problem is Kayo is really a man.

Rumors had been circulating for a while about the sexuality of Kayo and she finally revealed on a Japanese TV show that she did indeed have a sex change. So maybe all the guys who get beat by her don’t have to feel as bad now since they really got beat by a man.

Many of us have seen the video of the guy who recorded himself giving some very NSFW commentary to a game of Street Fighter he was playing. Funny stuff. Now a guy named Victor Tran has taken that clip and used it to make a animated short and it’s great. So I present to you, “MilkyWay vs. Street Fighter 3″.

Usually I’d give a little commentary to go along with a video like this but after checking out this video of a live action Darstalkers production, I’m pretty much able to sum it all up with… “WTF?!”

It’s been a pretty slow news day but I thought you all would enjoy this video I stumbled upon. A guy by the name of SonicZH‘s created a fan made game that pits Megaman against various Street Fighters in glorious 8 bit graphics. Its really impressive. It is hard to imagine how long this would have taken him.

Seems that not only did audiences get to see a real life Ryu fight a real life Kazuya at the Street FIghter X Tekken event at Gamescom, there was also a dance off between Chun Li and Nina. And I gotta admit, the girl playing Chun Li has some serious skills!

As part of the Street Fighter X Tekken event at Gamescom someone thought it’d be a good idea to have martial artists dressed up as Ryu and Kazuya face off. Seems good enough until the part where Ono shows up dressed like Chun Li. (more…)

Wow, can you say “slow news day”? Here’s is a video of Yoshinori Ono competing in a Ferrero Rocher eating contest shortly after he arrived in Capcom Europe’s London offices before he heads off to Germany for Gamescom. BTW Gamecom can not come fast enough. Here’s Capcom Europe’s statement on Ono’s pigout.

The long standing rivalry between top tier producers Yoshinori Ono (Street Fighter X Tekken) and Ryota Niitsuma (Marvel Vs Capcom 3) came to a head when mismanagement led to both producers being assigned the same office. Senior management were unable to resolve the argument that arose and things escalated quickly. In the end, we realised that there was only one way to decide who would get the most comfortable seat in the building -

Ferrero Rocher Speed Eating Challenge!

When Super Street Fighter IV was about to be released there were a number of pre-order bonuses out there depending on where you reserved your game. Many people went for the free pack of alternate costume DLC that came with the game if you got it from Amazon. However if you got the game from Gamestop you got Thumb Fighters. Basically there were little sleeves you put on your thumbs so you can thumb wrestle. Kinda corny if you ask me but since there are two or three hardcore collectors that have been trying to get their hands on these things, Capcom is offering them on their auction page. So go ahead and head over there and waste your money .

Today for Smash or Pass we look at a young lady who has made quite a bit of noise on the fighting scene, Faye Mata. Not only is Faye beautiful, she is a beast on the sticks. She’s is a Super Smash Bros. Brawl champ as well as a known force on Street Fight IV.
