Here’s some practical Fei Long combos for you guys by Snoooootch. Some good stuff here that you could actually ise in a match.

Did you know that in Super Street Fighter IV, Dan can stop many characters’ ultras with a taunt? Crazy right? Well the Combonauts have put together a video showing off what they call “zero damage combos”, Check it out below.

This is rather impressive. A player by the name of Desk has recorded himself doing Ryu‘s trials on Super Street Fighter IV and he actually completes them! Just watch.

A young man by the name of BiffOTasty has figured out how to pull off a 114 hit combo with Chun Li in Super Street Fighter IV. Check it out.

If you are into repetitive Yang combo videos then I have just the thing for you. KYSG put together this video showing many combos for everyone’s favorite twin fighter in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

Are you familiar with “resets”? Well this is how S-Kill describes them…

A reset is basically a variation on a combo. It’s interesting because while a “reset combo” does less damage than you could do by completing your combo normally, it sets up a *new* chance to do even more damage (usually by leaving you in a surprising position where the opponent will fail to block).

Why would you want to do this? Well, resets are often important because of damage scaling. Damage scaling is the well-known effect where every subsequent hit in a big combo does less and less damage, and sometimes gets to the point where even an Ultra Combo will only do a few pixels. By using a reset, you are basically trading a little bit of guaranteed damage for a % chance at doing even more damage.

Resets give you a chance to bypass damage scaling by technically letting your opponent out of the initial combo and setting them up for a new, separate combo. Since it’s a new combo that they technically could have blocked, every hit of the new combo does far more damage. This makes resets very valuable, unless, of course, your opponent KNOWS you’re going for a reset, in which case it makes them pretty easy to block. That’s why you want to use a variety of different and sexy resets to keep your opponent guessing.

A side benefit of resets, apart from the damage, is their ability to really mess with your opponent’s head. If you can land one or two of these in a row, you can turn even seasoned pros into drooling goons wondering “wtf just happened?!”

Here’s a cool video showing some mix-up techniques with Guy. This one may be a bit too advanced for the average player but I’m sure some of you out there may get some use out of it.

Check out this video that demostrates how likely you are to catch your opponent if you do a Angry Scar and then A Tiger Uppercut at the start of the second round. I can’t wait to test this out for myself.

In the video below Daigo gives his thoughts on who the weakest character in Super Street Fighter IV. And guess what? It’s not Ryu.

GameTrailers managed to get US Street Fighter IV champion Justin Wong to give walkthroughs with the “Third Strikers” Dudley, Makoto and Ibuki. He shows off some of the combos and techniques that make these characters stand out.
