Footage From Street Fighter Panel At Comic-Con
By now most of us have read about all the anouncements from the Street Fighter panel at Comic-Con but what many of us weren’t aware of is how much of a circus it was. Check out the footage below which is was taken at the panel. Interesting if only mildly entertaining.
Capcom Announces Street Fighter X Tekken!!
I gotta admit I’m kinda surprised at this one. Many people were pointing at signs that Street Fighter X Tekken might be in the making but it just didn’t make sense since Capcom is currently pushing Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Well, I was wrong because at ComicCon today Yoshinori Ono anounced that Capcom will be doing Street Fighter X Tekken and Namco will be making a Tekken x Street Fighter Game. This is similar to the approach that was taken with the SNK Vs. games, each company making their own version.
Seems like Street Fighter X Tekken will be running on the Street Fighter IV engine and all the Street Fighter characters will also be using their models from that game as well. HOwever gameplay is likely going to be a bit different as it involved some sort of tag team matches. It’ll be interesting to see how they handle the fact that Tekken doesn’t use projectiles. Can’t wait to to hear more about this one.
Check Out Capcom’s UStream Feed
Like everyone else, I’m awaiting Ono’s dropping of major Street Fighter news today. In the meantime though, we may all want to check out Capcom’s UStream account because there is likely some cool stuff going on there such as people playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and whatnot. (more…)

Fan Art: Cool Fan Made Advertisements
One thing you can say about gamers is that they are a imaginative bunch. Take for instance these fan made advertisements for a few Capcom fighters by some of the guys over at the Capcom Europe forums. Remember that they are fan made so don’t start getting your hopes up for a Capcom Vs. SNK 3 … yet.
Ingrid, Pheonix Wright and Others Almost Made It Into Tatsunoko Vs Capcom
It kinda sucks when you hear from a developer about characters they wanted to get into a game but because of time, budget or storage constraints were not able to make it happen. Such was the case with Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. According to a small flyer called the TvC: Secret File, that came with Tatsunoko Vs Capcom if you preordered it, several fighters were left on the chopping block.
However, in a interview with Ryota Niitsuma, the producer of Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. Those characters may make it into the game afterall as DLC (downloadable content).
Who are these lost characters? Just Phoenix Wright, Komugi, Rollerblade Hero Muteking and the cult favorite Ingrid
